Privacy

When you request a score, you give us:

• the website address you want reviewed;
• your email address, so we can send you the report;
• optionally, your first name, business name, phone number, and anything you type into the notes field when you request a Makeover Plan.

We also record basic technical information that comes with any web request, such as the time of the request and the browser used, and the results of the review itself.

We look only at pages that are already publicly available on the website you give us — the same pages anyone visiting your site could see. We do not log in to anything, we do not ask for access to your hosting or accounts, and we do not attempt to reach anything that is not public.

• To produce your Website Makeover Score and the report that goes with it.
• To send you the report and, if you ask for one, a written Makeover Plan.
• To follow up about the review, and to improve how the review itself works.

We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Running this tool means using a small number of service providers — for website hosting, email delivery, and storing the reports we produce. They handle your information only to provide those services to us, and they are not permitted to use it for anything else.

Each report has its own private link. Anyone who has that link can view that report, so share it only with people you trust. Report pages are not indexed by search engines and are not listed anywhere public.

One honest caveat: like any web address, a report link appears in the standard access logs kept by the services that host and deliver the page. We do not put report links into our own application logs, error reports, or analytics.

We keep reports and the details you submitted for as long as they are useful to you and to us — typically while we are in contact about the work — and we remove them sooner whenever you ask.

You can ask us to delete your report and submitted information at any time. Email hello@siteveritas.com from the address you used, or tell us the website you submitted, and we will remove it and confirm when it is done.

You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct something that is wrong.

This tool is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
