Terms of use
These are the terms for using the Website Makeover Score. We have written them the way we would explain them out loud, rather than in legal language.

What this tool is
The Website Makeover Score is a diagnostic. It reviews a publicly available website against a consistent set of review criteria and produces a score, a list of what appears to be working, and a list of opportunities we would address.
What it is not
- It is not a guarantee of business results. A higher score does not promise more calls, more customers, or more revenue.
- It is not a security audit, an accessibility audit, or a legal compliance review.
- It is not a judgment of your business or the quality of your work. It describes only what a first-time visitor is likely to encounter on your website.
Projected scores show what our review criteria suggest could be recovered by addressing specific findings. They are projections, not commitments.
Using the tool
Submit only websites you own or are authorized to have reviewed. Please do not use the tool to attempt to overload our systems, to submit websites at scale automatically, or to review a website in order to harass or disparage its owner.
We may limit or decline requests that appear automated or abusive, so the tool stays available for the business owners it is meant for.
Your report
Your report is yours to read, print, and share. Each report has a private link, and anyone holding that link can view it, so share it only with people you trust.
You can ask us to delete your report and submitted information at any time by emailing hello@siteveritas.com.
Accuracy
We review what is publicly visible at the moment we look. Websites change, and some reviews can only see part of a site — where that happens, we say so on the report rather than lowering your score for something we could not check. If you think we have got something wrong, tell us and we will look again.
Our content
The scoring criteria, the report format, and the written material on this site belong to Site Veritas. The content of your own website remains entirely yours.
Availability and liability
We provide this tool as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Site Veritas is not liable for business decisions made on the basis of a score or a projection.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
